Welcome to Big Mountain Heliskiing

"Bella Coola Heli Sports now offers the same 1.5 million acres of heliskiing and heli-boarding at a more affordable cost!"

After many requests for a more affordable heliskiing experience we focused on the heliskiing and heli-boarding. So, without sacrificing the 'goods', BCHS created Big Mountain Heliskiing tours. We encourage you to make your own comparisons.

Did you know that Big Mountain Heliskiing...

  • does not include hidden costs
  • includes your flights from Vancouver return
  • includes all meals and snacks
  • is easy access with only a 1 hour 15 minute flight from Vancouver, BC
  • offers the same BCHS heliskiing on your arrival and departure days
  • offers the same 1.5 million acres of heliskiing and boarding terrain
  • provides the same professional, highly trained guides and pilots
  • offers guests the same fat skis and all safety equipment
  • only flies A Star B2 helicopters which are the most comfortable, dependable and powerful of high mountain flying machines

The difference between the Tweedsmuir Park Lodge and Big Mountain Heliskiing tours is the guest house style accommodations vs a lodge environment.

Guides comments:

Today was the last day of our winter season and what a fantastic season it has been. Winter will not give up yet as today we heliskied boot to knee deep powder. Maybe the winter won't quit but we certainly are ready for the beach. Thank you to all!

Cheers from the BCHS guiding team.

My wife and I have been fantasizing about heliskiing for a long time.

We could not have even considered this opportunity, if it wasn’t for the value of the costs, ease and speed of travelling to and from the operation, and of course the fantastic heliskiing.

We were both back to work Tuesday after this incredible long weekend of powder magic, see you again!
